Kenya flags US$815m Eurobond for 2026/27 fiscal year, to target long-dated hard‑currency curve

On 14 August 2026 Kenya announced plans to issue a US$815 million Eurobond in the second quarter of its 2026/27 fiscal year, adding material near‑term external supply that concentrates pressure on the long end of its USD sovereign curve and will serve as a regional pricing reference.

The flagged US$815m Eurobond increases prospective external supply for Kenya’s USD curve; depending on maturity and coupon, the issuance could push long‑end yields higher and re‑establish a market reference for regional sovereigns.
