A lower sovereign dollar yield and a tighter spread to US Treasuries reduces immediate external funding costs for Nigeria and can mechanically compress Nigeria‑linked corporate dollar spreads. The effect is conditional on sustained foreign‑exchange reserves, secondary market liquidity and global rate moves; rising US yields could still pressure prices even if spreads remain narrower.
