Ghana completes US$3bn ECF and shifts to non‑financing PCI at IMF meetings

On 12 October 2026 Ghana completed its US$3 billion Extended Credit Facility (ECF) programme and has transitioned to a non‑financing Policy Coordination Instrument (PCI), marking an end to direct IMF financing and moving the country into a monitoring‑style engagement with the Fund.
