PETROSOL’s GH₵100m maiden corporate bond 178% subscribed and listed on Ghana Fixed Income Market

On 24 August 2026 PETROSOL Platinum Energy PLC completed a GH₵100 million corporate note issuance (Series 1 & 2) that was 178% subscribed in the bookbuild and listed on the Ghana Fixed Income Market, attracting GH₵178.07 million in bids against the GH₵100 million offer.

The transaction broadens Ghana’s corporate bond supply by adding an oil-marketing company issuer to the GFIM and provides a new non-sovereign paper option for domestic institutional investors. Conditional on secondary-market trading and follow-on issuance, the deal could modestly diversify pension-fund and insurer allocations away from government bonds; absent clear evidence of active secondary liquidity, its immediate effect on benchmark yields or USD spreads should be limited.

PETROSOL’s planned return to the market to raise the remaining GH₵100 million from its GH₵200m programme and early secondary trading volumes for the notes.
